There has been more common sense in this thread than in most of the others in the past year combined. For those that do go on Saturday, please give my share of support for the team as well - and I have got something of a foghorn for a voice! With three children all involved in activities at the weekend, my attendance at matches is sporadic at best(4 so far this season) but I kick every ball metaphorically on Saturday afternoons. I will hopefully be at the Southend and Rotherham games this month to make up for those matches I have missed. We do need to stay UNITED - this talk of boycotts isn't helping us at all(refer to my previous post entitled "A couple of things" for a prime example). If our three geographically-closest rivals in this League being promoted is the price that needs to paid to ensure our survival, then so be it. So, let's focus on supporting OUR team - Slop-baiting can wait as far as I am concerned. COYB!!!

No REAL supporter would criticise a fan who lives miles away for not attending....it's the buggers who live on the doorstep and don't go that pi55 me off.

In a strange way Tuesday has made me realise how much passion us fans have. We all want the same thing and we all voice our opinion in different ways. But we are all HEREFORD TILL WE DIE!!!

Some good comments here.

I'd love to know what JP has had a say in, in recent months.

- did he want fleets to leave?
- Did he want Hoult as Assistant manager?
- did he want Peters
- has he made the new signings and new contracts?

I honestly feel Peters has f u c k e d this club up a hell of a lot more than he's getting credit for.

Regardless of what has happened since Peters arrival, JP had earnt himself the sack prior to it. Which is why he went snivelling to the board saying he needed ANOTHER mentor 'cause when negotiating his new contract and he told them he could manage he fibbed. So albeit he didnt name Peters but yes he did ask for a DOF...to save his own skin.....AGAIN.
Its always all about him isnt it? and to hell with what happens to OUR club. Because of him, him needing a job and him holding HUFC to ransom hes gonna send the club he apparantly loves to football oblivion. How such a crap rookie manager can have such a hold over a club continues to baffle me. SAF runs Utd as Cloughie ran Forest but PITMAN running Hereford?! Just dont get it.

But most of those things you noted happened without Peters?

Yes Fleets is "difficult" to manage.
Yes
Actually i think he has always accepted having someone else with experience around is good for all concerned.
Two answers here, Yes re recent signings post Davey, and no re contracts for those signings, I think DK much closer to it now after the Davey debacle.

So wide of the mark it would be laughable if our position wasn't so awful.

The only time we WERE picking up points was when Peters was involved. Pitman has effectively been in sole control for the last mont yielding a total of three points from 7 games. He's so out of his depth its embarassing.

IMHO given a free hand Peters could keep us up. Not pretty to watch but beggars can't be choosers and as Slop fans know he can sure motivate a team and organise a defence which is what we need more then anything at the moment. Pitman is incapable of motivating anybody as the last month shows.

But for whatever reason this dosnt fit the agenda of several on here, so we'll blunder on until its too late...

this is laughable.

Are you suggesting that Peters was involved for every good game but not every bad game?

On what basis do you know that Peters has been involved in the good games but not the bad ones.

Typical idiot comment from an idiotic poster. You're like Ex, make a couple of polar oppisite predictions at the start of the season and then stick the opinion that suits best!

As one of Pitman's fiercest critics, I find this late attempt at a "we love you Jamie really" thread pretty embarrassing.

I have nothing against Pitman as a person, it's his refusal to accept that he is way out of his depth and that by continuing to sponge off the club instead of resigning he is effectively acting as a Parasite.

I agree with Corve - Petersball may be awful to watch but when Gary first took over, we won 3 out of 4 and also got a creditable point at Swindon.

It's obvious to everyone that over the last few games, Gary has been told not to get involved so that shocking run of 3 points out of 21 is solely Pitman's fault.

If Pitman and his cronies leave and Peters is put in sole charge, we at least have a fighting chance of survival. With Pitman we have none.

Not really disagreeing with you 'cos, TBH, I ain't got much faith in either of the buggers.

Meanwhile, I give you ...
Crawley (H)
Yeovil (H) (Cup)
Burton (H)
Crewe (A)
Rotherham (H)
Plymouth (A)
Port Vale (H)
Accy (H)

7 League games 3 points when Martin was, supposedly, running the show.

Anyone's guess.

it's not a love in at all. We all want him to leave. But for people like you to call him a parasite it's insulting, classless and not how fans should behave. Especially for a man that has been associated with this club for so many years.

Of course I appreciate you are probably a WUM.

Just an addon to the abuse comments.
I said earlier that JP, for all his faults, doesn't deserve the abuse he gets on here, but I have always felt that he's never given less than 100% fpr the club.
Contrast that with Sean Canham, who has done very little for the Club, is (probably) on a wage packet larger than Jamie's, who hasn't had to work too hard for that money, and, currently, is making no contribution WHATSOEVER to our wellbeing, and then tell me..........Do you still believe that JP is the villain of the piece?
