"When I was growing up, my mother told me that happiness was the key to life. At school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I was grown up, I said 'happy', they said 'you don't understand the question', I said ... 'you don't understand life'."
I see what you've done there. As well as being the genial host of Catchphrase, Roy Walker was/is the name of a song by Belle & Sebastian, who took their name from Belle et Sébastien, a Cécile Aubry novel about a six-year-old boy and his Pyrenean Mountain Dog.

I can see you're all struggling with this one so here's a BIG clue.
You WOULD NOT find one of these in Exeter Cathedral.

As I said earlier, you WOULD NOT find one of these in Exeter Cathedral, which obviously means a sausage dog is incorrect. Wet Owl, you have won tonight's booby prize, a picture of a goat.

Correct answer is Butch the Smoking Dog, never found in the cathedral as he's part of the outside wall and the original model has passed to the great kennel in the sky. http://www.exetermemories.co.uk/em/_art/smokingdog.php
Failing that it could be Barky the Wonderdog, seen here OUTSIDE the Cathedral busking. Potential Britains Got Talent Winner imho.
