TBF, Barnet did look reasonably organised despite lacking quality. Maybe Allen's usual turmoil will upset the pattern?

Odd one. All it proves to me is that this isn't over yet.
Barnet losing on Friday will surely see a heck of a game on Saturday.

Plymouth are not out of it yet and they have Poxford, Morecambe and Cheltenscum to play.

I can't see Plymouth falling back into it; they look professional enough to finish the job they started.

I think thats good news for us, i think the players were happy under sanchez and were improving, think this will set them back, well hope it does anyway.

IncrediBULL news that one. Must admit I've been thinking fir a while Barnet looked safe-ish, least they've been scoring lately. To be honest probably think they should have beaten us, certainly looked half decent I thought. Nicely worded speech from Laurie too. I think this is a balls or bust from their board and may well come back to haunt them.
I don't usually wish relegation on any team but this has tilted them over my limit and I really hope they implode and he disappears forever up his own creation .

Agree totally. Schadenfreude it may be, but for the same reason I hope QPR are relegated and both Liverpool and Chelsea get their arses kicked in the cup-final. Ironically, the only thing more annoying than panic sacking of a decent manager is holding on to a clueless one until it's too late.

Allen's usual turmoil
The last time Allens 'usual turmoil' impacted on Barnet he gained 7 points in 3 games(for a side whose form prior to his arrival was as bad as ours) one more then Pitman and O'Kelly have managed in 9.
I know who (until the end of this season anyway) I'd have rather had picking the team.

Allen's record is largely one of short term benefits and long term disappointment.
He is one of a growing breed of manager that can give an immediate boost to a side, but eventually rubs everyone up the wrong way because of his personality. Which is why, at this stage of the season, he was free to join Barnet.

And, arguably, therefore a perfect appointment for them in the current circumstances.

My heart sank when I read it.
MA does have the knack of galvanising a squad, and can do it very quickly. That he has proven.
Seemingly Sanchez wasn't that popular by the players either. Thus, I'd suggest, there is definate room for them to step up half a level.

I would not be surprised if Allen was on some sort of deal at Barnet. If he keeps them up he gets X amout and if they do go down he walks with nothing except a few quid for fuel costs.
