Colbeck isn't a spectacular player but he's been effective enough for the Team. Ex is right when he's saying he's not a "great" loss but, nevertheless, he's still a loss.

You don't find too many wingers with Joe's determination and work rate. With him in the team we can afford to sign a talented fancy dan for the left side. That coupled with his occasional ability to turn a match makes him a vital player for us.
Sure, there are better players out there but I think Colbeck suits our current team and manager and would rather keep wi' t lad then risk 2 new wideys.

If somebody felt like chomping on that they might point out that Daley was released by Badford for the very same reasons you are writing Joe off.

Incidentally - "homesick for Bradford" - gotta be out of the Bumper Book Of Plausible Excuses For Engineering A Transfer - by R W Savage innit.

If we're interested in doing a player exchange, I wouldn't say no to Bradford's Kevin Ellison. He was always a thorn in our side when playing for Chesterfield against us in the Conference.

Agreed. He works like nothing else and goes like stink - if he could cross he wouldn't be in League 2.

Underrated in my opinion. Be disappointed to lose him.

A City fan spoke about this today at work which was the 1st I'd heard about it. Home sickness is a powerful emotion. I know how much better I feel when I get back to Hereford. If I could I'd be back like a shot.

I suspect he and many others there live in Bradford which has a lot in common with many other places, i.e. has it's nice & not so nice parts. Lots of lovely buildings in and around the
city centre.

I think Colbeck goes under the catagory of "if he goes he goes" in my view.

Sounds like this was a load of rubbish. Someone's asked him on Twitter and he knows nothing about it and says he's not leaving.

Good news.
