This is true. Look at the table - Burton, 12 points of the play offs and 12 points clear of relegation, Bristol Rovers, 14 points off the play offs and 10 points clear of relegation. Their league status might be safe, but the prospect of games like Morecambe away in March when your that far from anything interesting possibly happening at either end of the table seems mundane compared to our current situation.
