Peters was a bit like a decent looking girl who hangs around with an ugly mate. Everything he said sounded great, due to the minger next to him, talking out of his arse.

agreed Glos, I think its helped clear the air. A bit Keyte needs to man up though, and explain his thinking regarding keeping Pitman in charge. He won't though, as there is no answer.

so why have we been told that he has signed a 3 year deal? I believe we were told that he had shaken hands on one...

Question : Will GP walk?
Answer : No.
Will Hereford stay up with Peters aboard?
Answer : Yes.
If I was in the trenches, he's the one I'd want in there with me. I know GP well. Trust in him.

If he was that much of a genius, others would have snapped him up. Our group of players are bloody awful, with a couple of exceptions.

GP is here to do a top down analysis of the club and give his recommendations to the board, he's here as a consultant because we dont have a great deal of experience at board level....its as simple as that. Sure he will be working with Jamie and the rest of the team....but really its all analysis.
If he doesnt see a place for Pitman, Hoult, Sneekes and company then that will be within his recommendations.
He comes across as a nice guy, but I believe ultimately he will weild the sword where he needs to.
I've seen it many many times in the business world, quite often the "hatchet" man inherits the problem so I dont see much behind his statement ..."I'm not here for Jamies job "
Another thing that was mentioned time and time again by Jamie ...I talk and talk to these guys about what I want them to do and they fail to execute. He simply has to look at himself or be told by someone, that you need to be way better in your articulation because there were times tonight when I wondered if I spoke the same language as Jamie.
Having said all that.........its a new dawn for the time being ....we have to give our support and see what this new unit can achieve...we owe them that because we are all Hereford United, me, you, Jamie, the players etc.
Come on you whites !!

Never said he would sign it! He won't be in a hurry. My concern is, if he doesn't think, in a month or two, that he can keep us up, he will walk. That would leave us with Pitman and an all time lowest points and goals total.

Well, that was interesting. Logged on about halfway through to someone absolutely slating Pitman. Although I am not Pitman's greatest fan, some of those comments were a disgrace, but at least it's cleared the air somewhat. Thought Peters handled it well, very impressed by him. He's certainly under no illusions and knows exactly the task facing him. Also noticed Pitman dishing out a few Davey phrases e.g "I have no control once they cross that white line" or "I give them jobs to do on the pitch, they've got to do them". Or words to that effect

"Peters on Pell - we'll play him when we can trust him not to make mistakes." So Why is Townsend still playing? Towner made one mistake Saturday. Didn't cost us. Pell came on and gave the ball away 5 or 6 times through shoddy passes. Had one shot that went about 20 yards to the right. Need to take your rose tinted glasses off. He ain't that special

A Pell in the right hands and in the right team, has almost limitless possiblilities. For us, right now... it's difficult.
